In this blog we plan to explore themes related to human population and how this affects aspects of our biology and culture. The themes we will explore include: Race and racism; so-called "Tribalism"; Political polarization; Tyranny and tyrants; Leaders and leadership; Xenophobia; and more.
Our first post will appear soon and will broadly lay out the territory. As we put up additional posts, some of which will be co-authored and others single-authored, we will invite comments as a way of interacting with our readers, but the comments will be heavily moderated. Comments that promote racist tropes will not be approved; nor, in general, will comments that promote willful ignorance in the face of evidence.
